Cosmic Ordering with the Law of Attraction in 5 Simple Steps

What is Cosmic Ordering?

Cosmic ordering is the process of clearly defining a wish, writing it down and waiting for it to be fulfilled by the Universe, through the power of positive intention. Based on the Law of Attraction, Bestselling German author, Bärbel Mohr is credited with coining the phrase and process, which she detailed, in her acclaimed book, The Cosmic Ordering Service.

Does Cosmic Ordering Really Work?

There had been lots of cosmic ordering success stories floating around the Internet. Rather than take them at face value, like most things, I had to see for myself.

Since then, I’ve used cosmic ordering to manifest my dream home, two of my cars, my first real love and later my soulmate, literally in a matter of days to a few weeks each time. So, to answer the question, as far as I’m concerned, without a doubt, “YES, IT WORKS!”

Cosmic ordering is actually one of the simplest and most effective Law of Attraction techniques I have ever used, but there are some nuances that can make it seem tricky.

How Does Cosmic Ordering Work?

If you’ve mastered ordering your favorite beverage, then manifesting a new job, love, money, or anything else for that matter, with the Law of Attraction, shouldn’t be much of a problem.

See, when you place your order at Starbucks, for example, you tell the barista, exactly what you want and how you want it. “I’ll have a Double Ristretto Venti Half-Soy Nonfat Decaf Organic Chocolate Brownie Iced Vanilla Double-Shot Gingerbread Frappuccino Extra Hot With Foam Whipped Cream Upside Down Double Blended, One Sweet’N Low and One Nutrasweet, and Ice.” Then you pay, say “Thank you,” and stand off to the side, fully expecting that at some point in the near future, you’ll hear your name called to pick up your drink, perfectly prepared to your exacting standards.

Sure, you might occasionally wonder what the hell is taking so long, but you NEVER doubt for a second that your drink’s coming. You don’t flag the barista down behind the counter and try to change your order to a Caramel Latte with oat milk instead, or maybe just a Caffé Americano, because it might be easier for them to prepare. You don’t worry when the other people waiting get their drinks because there might not be enough soy milk left for yours. Nope! You just stand there, more than likely distracting yourself on your phone, and look forward to sipping your tasty little piece of heaven on earth.

So that’s the process in a nutshell. Now let’s get into the nuances.

Cosmic Ordering in 5 Simple Steps

Decide what you REALLY want.

You’d be surprised how many people don’t know what they want, don’t know where to start or are afraid to admit to themselves what they want. No worries if you’re one of them, or just need a little help clarifying your goals. These vision board prompts can help you define your desires.

Once you’ve perused the entire menu of possibilities life has to offer, decide EXACTLY what you’d like to be, do or have.

Although nothing’s off limits, be sure to choose something that YOU believe is possible for you to manifest. Start with something “smaller” if necessary, to build your confidence.

Get on board with your desire.

The reason I believe I’ve had tremendous success with Cosmic Ordering regarding the “big things” is because there was a palpable shift in my energy before I ever “placed my order.”

Each time, there was a definitive moment, where I literally said to myself “I’m ready to buy a home. I’m ready for love again. I’m ready for a new car.”

That meant, there was no ambivalence in my desire. I had gotten to the place where I was truly embracing the Art of Allowing. I was able to want without caring how it was going to happen. I wasn’t swayed by what anyone else’s experiences or obstacles had been in trying to obtain similar things. Any perceived shortcomings on my part, or seeming impossibility were irrelevant. Scarcity was the furthest thing from my mind.

I had pure unencumbered desire, was sure of my worthiness and now willing to have faith in the Universe to work out the details, without attachment to the outcome.

Place your order.

Tell your cosmic barista, also known as the Universe what you want. Write down all of the details you can think of. This is incredibly important. Actually, important is an understatement. It’s necessary! So don’t type it out on your laptop or enter it in the notes on your phone.

In addition to cementing clarity, there’s a special connection made through putting pen or pencil to paper that just doesn’t translate electronically.

As you write your list, your visualization should kick into high gear as you consider each desired feature or characteristic, why you want it and most importantly, how it feels to have it.

Don’t worry about the length. Write as much as you want, for as long as you want, as long as it feels good. The Universe is fully capable of delivering “complex” orders.

I typically end my cosmic order with gratitude and some version of the phrase, “This or something better now manifests for me,” making allowances for Infinite Intelligence, who knows all things best.

Let it go.

Release attachment to the outcome. There’s no need to revisit your list, continually visualize, script or employ any other Law of Attraction techniques to coax your desire into being. And there should be no taking score, constantly wondering, with lack or longing, where it is.

You don’t even have to do anything specifically related to your goal. Sure, if looking at cars and houses online, or in person, feels great to you, then do it. If you want to buy a lottery ticket or join a dating app because it seems like it’d be fun, by all means. But don’t do anything, you really don’t feel led to, under the guise of trying to “help” the Universe.

Take inspired action.

The only things you should be doing at this point are paying attention to your emotions and acting, when truly moved. Literally, following your bliss.

Keep in mind that inspired action doesn’t have to be obviously connected to your desire at all.

So if you have an urge to take a different route home, reach out to someone, try a new restaurant, whatever, then do it. Those nudges are the Universe guiding you toward the fulfillment of your requests. You just have to be willing to go with the flow.

Now, I get that the process might seem a little too simple to be plausible. But what do you have to lose by just giving it a shot? So go ahead and place your cosmic order. And trust me when I say that the Universe is literally waiting to serve you.
